Best experience I’ve ever had in a barbershop. Yaseen is a humble and generous man and he will fulfill whatever you ask. I am very picky about my haircut, and usually it takes a barber a couple times to learn your head and hair... not Yaseen. He got it perfect first time, and even made recommendations after the cut of what we could do next time to make it look even better. Great environment. Go here if you want to be taken care of like family. Oh and he offered me coffee or tea, I have NEVER experienced that kind of hospitality and I’ve gotten my haircut every 2 weeks for almost 10 years.

I've been coming to Yaseen's for a little over a year now. Moved to Grand Rapids about a year and a half ago and had a lot of trouble finding a barber that could do a great job. This was a steal to find! Yaseen does an amazing job, he takes his time and has such attention to detail. Every time I've been here, I walk out with a great cut and he also does great beard work. He's also a really nice and friendly guy and so are his other barbers! Would definitely recommend checking out the shop. Be sure to make an appointment ahead of time, as it does get busy during certain days.

Ya Man Barbershop is a one of a kind experience. The setting is beautiful and comfortable. The staff is absolutely Incredible at their jobs. I have had my hair cut by Yaseen as well as Edward so far and I have nothing but positive feedback. You will never go to someone else for a haircut/beard trim again! It can get all done at Ya Man, it could take a while to get that first appointment, but one you get in, you are customer for life.

This was by far the most impeccable, clean-cut and customer-care driven haircut experience I have received in a barbershop. It felt like an everyday neighborhood barbershop but with a VIP approach. Just try it, you will not regret getting a haircut here. Yaseen and Omer were both professional and friendly. I was greeted with tea and spacious seating while I waited for less than two minutes before my chair was ready. They worked to learn what I wanted for my cut and they advised on best cut/style for my kind of hair texture (which included recommending a better cut style and length than I would have asked for). They offer haircuts and facial trims, face and neck wax, etc. They wash your hair, provide warm face towels, etc. This barbershop is the true VIP treatment.
